Terms of Service

By downloading or using Stryde, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of Stryde, including free and Pro subscribers.

Stryde is a GPS-based territory conquest running app designed for outdoor use. You must be 13 years of age or older to create an account and use the app.

You are solely responsible for running safely and obeying all applicable traffic laws, road regulations, and local bylaws while using the app. Stryde does not direct your routes and is not responsible for any decisions you make about where or how you run.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or misuse the platform.

You retain ownership of your run data, profile information, and any content you submit to Stryde.

By using Stryde, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use anonymised and aggregated run data (such as route density, popular areas, and usage patterns) to improve the service. This data cannot be used to identify you individually.

Pro plans are available on a monthly or annual basis and are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to Pro features until that date. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. Stryde does not process refunds directly.

A 7-day free trial is available for new Pro subscribers. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends.

Stryde is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of GPS data, or fitness for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stryde and its developers are not liable for any injuries, accidents, property damage, or other damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to incidents that occur during runs recorded with Stryde.

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
